New beginnings are a way of leaving behind certain stages and allowing for something new and promising. I love my work, but I’m aware that I’m continuously searching for that illusion of doing something I’ve never done before. Fear, challenges, and effort are a crucial part of this personal voyage which wouldn’t be possible if not for the potential of turning around and walking towards something new.
At the same time, I consider that there are no new beginnings without big battles, and that it’s necessary to destroy and abandon that which we already reached.
This departure may seem like a step back, but for those of us who are optimistic, it will allow us to build from the foundations; having achieved a higher level of knowledge and experience.
Photography, just like any other trade, develops from the changes within a person. Let’s not forget that life is that same process of development and collapse, that there is no specific goal, there is no end. Let us enjoy, then, from within each new beginning.
